The In-line motor is designed to fit into a ceiling void (see fig I) or loft space. The diagram below shows the motor can be mounted is to route the ducting horizontally to the outside.

Figure I shows a seperate motor mounted in an existing void, the air then flows through the motor to the outside. Alternatively the motor can be positioned into the top of the extractor, it then only requires ducting and a grate on the outside.
